In anticipation of its 2020 launch, the new SME banking entrant Recognise has chosen Microsoft Gold Partner City Dynamics to implement Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central as its core financial system.

City Dynamics, renowned for its expertise in the financial services sector, delivers comprehensive business management solutions using Microsoft’s cloud-based Dynamics 365. Recognise selected City Dynamics for their profound sector knowledge and experience, aiming to create a platform that ensures seamless data integration between Mambu, the cloud banking provider, and Dynamics 365 Business Central.

As a subsidiary of AIM-listed City of London Group plc, Recognise will cater to the UK SME sector and the retail and business deposits market. Awaiting a banking licence, Recognise has already submitted its application and aims to launch later this year, pending approval.

Recognise’s technology-driven approach is set to offer an enhanced banking experience to underserved SMEs.

The appointment of City Dynamics follows those of Mambu and nCino. Both Mambu and City Dynamics will collaborate with Recognise’s Finance team to develop a cutting-edge technology infrastructure, reshaping SME banking. This partnership underscores Recognise’s commitment to innovating the banking experience without relying on legacy systems.

City Dynamics, utilizing the Microsoft Dynamics 365 suite, enhances the information flow, efficiency, and productivity of financial services businesses.
