Mambu is a composable banking solution that acts as a sub-ledger. The cloud-based solution stores the Journal data for the Financial Institution that is built on top of it.
The Journal data must be integrated with a third party accounting platform.
Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is the ideal solution for this. Banks are able to manage their finances, operations, sales, marketing and customer service in one seamless customer experience.
The Mambu Microsoft Dynamics Connector makes it easy to share transaction information and General Ledger Journal Entries between Mambu and Business Central.
Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is aligned with the help of a Chart of Accounts which sets up a common set of definitions for the GL accounting codes between the two systems.
Once set up you’ll be able to take advantage of the Mambu-Microsoft Dynamics connector’s main business flow. This enables the bank to extract all Journal lines created in the previous day from Mambu and post them as Journal Lines within Business Central. The Journal lines contain information regarding the following entities in Mambu:
- GL account
- Transaction Id and Type (ex: Disbursement)
- Loan/Deposit Account
At City Dynamics we have successfully implemented MS Dynamics Business Central and Mambu at two banks in London: Recognise and Monument.
