Microsoft has just begun setting the foundations of their new dedicated Microsoft Dynamics 365 support platform, the early version of which has just been made publicly accessible. Currently, the platform offers only basic support request and management functionality but sets an exciting precedent for what is to come.
At the moment, Dynamics 365 support is handled within the support network in place for Office 365, meaning that Dynamics users have to log their support requests to the same team that handles requests for both Dynamics and Office. Work beginning on this new platform means that a support network designed and targeted solely at Dynamics 365 end users and suppliers, isn’t far over the horizon. This new support platform, once its true potential is realised, will be able to provide bespoke and expert support for Dynamics 365 users with a reliable support system, powered by teams familiar with Dynamics 365, its functionality, modules and integrations.
Although it’s early days, it is exciting to imagine the potential functionality and capabilities that this new support platform will offer. We’ll be sure to keep you informed of any further developments as they arise, as well as further pieces exploring the new functionality and benefits of this new support platform, be sure to watch this space!
