2017 was a huge year for City Dynamics. We undertook a major rebrand, as well as hosting a stunning event atop the Shard in October for our first ever Insight Day. 2018 promises to be even better with new Microsoft product releases, plus our attendance at Accountex 2018 in May. Here’s a look at what we’ll be up to in 2018 and the accountancy innovations to look out for this year.
Dynamics GP 2018
Kicking off 2018 is the long-awaited release of Microsoft Dynamics GP 2018 – a massive update for Microsoft’s already powerful Dynamics GP 2016. GP 2018 promises to take the benefits from the previous iteration and make them more efficient, reliable and flexible to enable companies using the system to improve their performance. We’ll be hosting a webinar on February 23rd discussing how GP 2018’s new features will benefit accountancy professionals, giving our clients a better understanding of the new and exciting upcoming features. These include greater accessibility through mobile and cloud integration and overall greater optimisation and user-friendliness of HR and payroll system management.
Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Financials
Following much anticipation, Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Financials was finally released for the UK market last summer. We look forward to working with Microsoft’s brand-new cloud-based platform – a powerful tool designed to help financial and accountancy professionals enhance data accessibility and efficiency.
We embraced many opportunities to gain insight into the challenges facing accountants and the finance industry over 2017. With Accountex coming up in May, we’ll be continuing these learning experiences into the new year. Hosted at the London ExCeL, this year’s expo will feature talks from accountancy leaders as well as free CPD seminars – a great environment for learning more about industry challenges and determining what will be top of our clients’ agendas in future.
Microsoft’s Partner of the Year Award
In June, Microsoft will continue its annual tradition of naming its ‘Partner of the Year’. This year, City Dynamics is set on achieving this ambitious feat, which could be invaluable in helping us improve the service we provide. This accreditation also indicates that our services are recommended directly by Microsoft for their reliability, efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Already, as a Microsoft Gold Partner, we have demonstrated ourselves as standing out from the many Microsoft affiliated and partnered companies in the UK. We’re determined to redouble our efforts in excellent customer service and technical expertise for 2018.
